I am going to visit Greece in upcoming April. I am planning taking bus from Greece to Istanbul since no rail operated from Greece to Istanbul. Crazy-Holidays has daily bus (except Saturday) eithr from Athens or Thessaloniki to Istanbul. It fit my itinerary. However, the last of Crazy-holidays' web was 2011. Does anyone traveled with their bus from Athens or Thessaloniki to Istanbul in 2013 or 2012? Much appreciate you quick reply.

Unless things have changed you can also take a train from Thessaloniki to Alexandroupolis and a bus the rest of the way to Istanbul. If you do opt for a train for any portion of your journey try to find an express train. If I remember correctly the "local" trains take an excruciatingly long time.
