We are planning to go from Skopelos to Volos by Ferry on a Wednesday in early June that I think is a designated No Sail Date. Does this mean that the one ferry that I can find for that day, will cancel on us. As it is we will need to go to a different port to catch that one Ferry. Does "no Sail" mean there will be nothing, or that it is very limited? If I need to be changing reservations I would rather deal with that now than midway on our trip. Thanks for your assistance.
A "No Sail" day refers to just one particular ferry, not all ferries. Sometimes they need a day off for maintenance issues. If you're not finding any other ferry available on the ferry schedule websites for your travel date then you need to readjust your itinerary. http://www.gtp.gr http://www.openseas.gr/OPENSEAS/index_en.vm
Thanks!
