Hi all. In Thessaloniki for a couple days and looking for opinions. My traveling companion and I have the option for a day trip out to either Mt. Olympus or Halkidiki. Being a bit of a classics buff the rest of our itinerary is fairly packed (but reasonable)- leaving Thessaloniki for Delphi (by car) on Monday. Is the day trip to Mt Olympus worth it? Or would it be an idea to take in some of the Greek beach culture? If so, any recommendations for Halkidiki? A bit about our trip, when we leave Thessaloniki were were planning on stopping at Vergina and Meteora on our way to Delphi. No island travel and two days/one night through the Pelopanese. Thoughts?
