We plan on taking a honeymoon to Greece Mid-July 2012. We want to go to an island or two, but are not sunbathers at all. We love to hike and love learning a new culture. What two islands would be best to start with and then where in the mainland are musts? We figure about two weeks should be good...thanks!

Go to Crete for some hiking then go north for beautiful Santorini's clifftop hiking and fantastic views. They're only 2 hours apart by highspeed ferry. There's an amazing archaeolgoical site on Santorni, Akrotiri, that should be open to the public by July. It's been closed for several years but is due to reopen in May.
