I am studying in the Netherlands and I have a ten day holiday from 21-30 of March and I am wondering f it is a good time to go to Greece? I know that the weather might not be as warm and that some islands I will not be able to get to so for that reason do you have any Itinerary tips??
As well how safe is the country now after the December problems in Athens?
And I am a 21 year old female should I only go if I have someone to go with me?

I'm often in Greece in March (and will be this year slightly earlier than you.) I think it's a good time to travel except, as you say, the weather is unpredictable.
I'd take layers of clothing, and make sure to pack a waterproof, as it is often rainy. The islands can be quiet but there is always somewhere open to sleep and eat, unless you go to somewhere very remote.
Travel by ferry can be slightly unpredictable, given it can be windy, so if you are going to the islands I would plan to do that first and spend time in Athens at the end.
Another alternative is to do something on the mainland. The peloponnese are really interesting: Nafplio is beautiful and lively and you can get to Mycenae and Epidavrus from there if you are interested in sites. Mystra just outside of Sparta is spectacular, as is Monemvassia. All of those can be done by bus.
We were in Athens at Christmas and even then it was fine. It's calmed down considerably since, and you shouldn't have any problems in tourist areas. If you find yourself approaching a demonstration just turn around and walk the other way.
Have a great trip
