Greece in early Dec. Need advice, suggestions

I'm going to Greece in first wk of Dec. Are all the sites open? Will I be able to travel to Peloponessos?

I imagine sites will be open, but you do realize it will not be beach weather.

Thanks. I realized it's not the warmest time of the yr. Vacation time is scarce. I take whenever/whatever away time available. I just want to make sure in Dec, traveling to different island won't be an issue due to weather concerns. Any advice on where to go, what to do? =)
