No direct flights, but Olympic Air does fly to Karpathos, which is next door. http://www.olympicair.com/Home.aspx?a_id=549 The Anek Lines ferry from Rhodes will stop at Karpathos on the way to Kassos, then on to other islands before returning to Athens. http://www.gtp.gr These ferries do not make this connection every day. The challenge will be timing yourself so you don't waste a lot of time getting there.

julie, I don't believe there are any flights from Athens to Kasos at this time of year. It's possible that you might be able to book a flight from Athens to Rhodes and then Kasos. Your best bet would probably be to fly to Rhodes and then take a Ferry to Kasos. Have a look at * web.anek.gr/portal/page/portal/ANEK_prod * and click the "Timetables" link to see the schedules. This route is not as "well travelled" as other locations in Greece, so you might also consider having one of the Greek Travel Agencies set this up for you. Check Matt Barrett's website, * www.greecetravel.com * for the details (with the weblinks, you'll have to cut & paste the section inside the asterisks). Good luck!
