Going to stay a few days in Athens Greece on the way to the islands and up to Kalambaka. What is a nice budget hotel to stay in that is in a safe area and with easy access to Plaka area. CB

Check the websites for the Metropolis Hotel, Tempi Hotel and Attalos Hotel.

The 3-star Hotel Plaka worked fine for us. Plaka location, good included breakfast, great rooftop view of the Acropolis at night, decent room.
