GPS in Turkey - Garmin or TomTom

Hi I found a cheap Garmin gps $80 on Amazon and I was thinking of buying the Europe map from Garmin for $70. I was wondering if the map for TomTom is better. I seem to have read on the web that TomTom was more detailed. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks

I decided to wing it without the GPS. 63% coverage isn't enough reason to drop the $90 for the GPS and $70 for the Europe Garmin map.

We are driving throught out Europe and bought a Navigon GPS in Zurich for 149 swiss francs, it is working very good for us. We have already travelled to Germany, Czesky Krumlov, Salzburg, Lake Bled and we are now in Ljubljana. When we tried to buy a GPS in USA for using in Europe, they were very expensive and cannot assure us it will work in all the countries we are visiting. Dora

We are not going to have as much time as you do and will not have enough time to shop. If you have time, go to Plitvic national park in Croatia, Dubrovnik and Rovinj. We went to Lake Bled and these 3 spots last year and it was one of the best places we went.
