Good inexpensive place to stay in Corfu

After a year of traveling (Africa, Middle East, Asia), my daughters are visiting Corfu - they sent me an email asking for help in finding an inexpensive and safe hostel to rest up for a while. Any suggestions?

Tell them to stay at the Pink Palace hostel in Corfu...is supposed to be great. Check out their website!
