Does anyone have any suggestions on getting to Agia Theodora (the church with the trees growing on it) from Athens?

I'd not been posting because I've never done it and didn't have any definite idea. But since no one else seems to know...
A quick look on the web says it is outside Megalopolis. This is easy enough to get to on the bus from Athens - the Kalamata bus runs through it - but is also extremely ugly. It's dominated by the power station which produces the power for the whole of the Peloponnese.
If you are dead set on getting to Agia Theodora the best I can suggest is go to Megalopolis and ask around. Apparently Ancient Megalopolis is a good site, but I've never been.
