When I got out of the Air Force, my old camping equipment was gone, rotten or otherwise unusable.
So, since I was working for Blue Cross, on "Pill Hill" in Seattle, the REI store was just down the street.
I went through the REI catalog, created my list, and walked down there at lunch time.
First item was backpack, the rest of the stuff was put into it (except sleeping bag.) Out in 30 minutes, fully equipped. Everything worked fine, including tent, Svea stove, etc. for many years. Until it was stolen.
Has anybody done this here in Edmonds? Because I'm going to Greece for three weeks with a spouse who doubts such organizational abilities.
Actually, if she would only read the "Graffiti Wall" she'd be surprised.
