My Partner and I are planning a trip to the Following areas this July/Aug:
Prague, Krakow, Ljubljana, Lake Bled, Rovinj, Plitvice Lakes. We are staying in Marriott & Holiday Inn for Prague & Krakow. Hostel dorm beds for Ljubljana & Lake Bled, and private "Sobes" in Rovinj and Plitvice. I don't really expect any issues with the major hotel chains if we have a king or queen bed, and of course the dorms are a non-issue...but what about staying at a family owned sobe and sharing a bed. Is Croatia pretty conservative country when it comes to same sex couples? Any insight into this is welcome.
Croatia and Slovenia are fairly conservative compared to other Western European countries, but I don't think that you will have a problem. So many same-sex friends travel and share rooms, it seems more of a non-issue, in my opinion.
