I will be traveling to Frýdek-Místek in the Czech Republic later this month, and I am having some uncertainty about the best place to book a room. I will be looking at the RS book on this country, but do not know if this city would be included in his writings.

Unfortunately Frydek-Mistek is not a touristy town and is not in Rick Steves book. I don't have any personal experience with hotels in FM despite being originally from the Czech Republic. I googled it and there are few hotels you can choose from. It is an industrial town, most tourists think not worth visiting but beautiful mountains Beskydy are nearby with a lot of hiking trails.
