We are going to travel to Istanbul in September and we viewed a film showing a place in Istanbul called Fishermans Wharf. We would like to go there if any one could tell us how tro reach it.

You might be thinking of the area of the Galata Bridge in Istanbul. We visited it several times while we were there. We bought fish sandwiches from a boat along the water under the bridge. There are also many restaurants in that area. It's easy to find on a map of Istanbul--it's just north of the Sultanahmet neighborhood.

I spent a week in Istanbul returning to the US two weeks ago and I visited the area that Sharon mentions and I also believe that is the area you are looking for. I also had the fish sandwich sold off of a boat - you should get one. Lots of fisherman along both sides of the bridge, restrauants in the lower level of the bridge. Lots of good picture opportunities.
