Ferry from Dubrovnik to Venice

I'm not aware of any direct ferries from Dubrovnik to Venice. You would need to combine the ferry from Dubrovnik to Bari (2 overnight per week and 3 daytime per week) or from Split to Ancona (daily overnight and possibly daytime hydrofoils) with train and bus travel to reach Venice. It appears the coastal ferry from Dubrovnik to Rijeka isn't running this year. If using ferries, plan on arriving in Venice a full day (almost 24 hours) after you depart Dubrovnik. The 2 ferry lines are Jadrolinija and Blue Line (Split only). Other options to consider are flying (fastest) or bus (probably an early morning to evening trip). Looks on a map like Dubrovnik to Venice should be a simple trip, but it's not.
