Evvia, Greece

I'll be taking the Rick Steve's Greece tour but want to add a trip to Evvia to do some genealogy searching. I haven't found much about the area in guidebooks. Does anyone have advice or impressions about Evvia?

hi, Evvia is not a small island in my opinion. it is not touristy at all. I used to spend some weekends in Nea Cosmos, Evvia some years ago. It used to be very quiet with wonderful coast line.
