Has anyone used their Eurail pass to travel on the S-Bahn in German ciites? Will be in Berlin and the literature states we can travel with the pass, but not sure how to use it (board and show pass or show at ticket window/conductor to get ticket).

Hi, Yes, the Eurail Pass is valid on the S-Bahn. If you are kontrolliert just show the Pass. The best way to use the Pass on the S-Bahn is that you used it prior to arriving in Berlin, say, you took the train Frankfurt-Berlin Hbf. Then you decide to go to Potsdam on the same day. Use the Pass like that.
