I will be in Kusadasi one day and wanted to take a tour of Ephesus. I am a student of the bible and I know that St. Paul spent a good bit of time in Ephesus. Do you know if there are any tours that might visit any of the places where he taught.

Will you be on a cruise? Last time we were in Ephesus, we opted for a self-guided tour, but felt like we really missed a lot. (It was raining a lot, so we couldn't use our guidebook). We are going again in June, and have booked a tour through our ship, which seemed like a good value. This one includes the terrace homes. You can book private tours and I bet you can find one with an emphasis on NT locales and the travels of Paul. Good luck!

Alan, the fastest way is by plane to Izmir (about a 45 minute trip, but you need to factor in security kerfluffle and baggage collection at the other end.) If you rent a car, it's another forty five minutes or so to Ephesus. It can be done in a day trip if you start early enough, but most people prefer to stay overnight in Selcuk or Kusadasi instead.
