Electrical adapters and converters for Eastern Europe

What do I need to have to insure my US manufactured curling iron and camera battery recharger (for Double AA's) will safely work in Eastern Europe??

Curling Iron: Unless you purchased a dual voltage curling iron its going to be a problem. My wife has one she bought locally and she says it works fine; but you can go to Amazon.com and find a number to choose from. Cameral Battery Recharger: Here you are most likely in luck. Look at the little black box part of the recharger and it most likely says 110-220v 50hz/60hz input; in which case all you need is a plug adapter. A plug adapter just allows the US plug to fit into a european outlet. Almost all Europe is standardized now to the Euro/German Shucko Plug and after having had about every experience imaginable with the cheap adapters I think its wise to buy one like http://www.amazon.com/Grounded-American-European-German-Adapter/dp/B0038L54ZO/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1363979059&sr=8-20&keywords=european+electrical+plug+adapter. This will work in Eastern Europe (Russian, Ukraine, Belarus, etc) and will also work in Central Europe (Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, etc.) Oh, by the way. If you are going to the UK this wont work.

I have taken my very old curing iron all over Europe and Asia and just used a 2 prong adapter - it works fine and I have not had any problems. I do have the 120 - 210 and 50 60 mg listed above. PS in UK I used a 3 prong adapter for their outlets....
