anyone had experience traveling on Egypt Air...I have not been successful finding details online will phone of course but was on hold a long time...just curious as we heard they practice Islamic rule (no "adult" beverages, no pork (ok) etc. any tips are appreciated.

Cathy, we flew from JFK to Cairo and back three years ago on Egypt Air and it was fine; great service, friendly crew, decent meals. I can't comment on the 'adult beverage' situation as we tend not to drink on long flights. Anyway, the experience won't be any worse than any other 10+ hour flight.

We flew Egypt Air from Istanbul to Cairo about 18 months ago and the food and service were excellent although we dont drink adult beverages so dont know the situation with that.

Flew Egypt air last year London - Cairo. Service was good - plane was very old, still had to ash trays in the arm rests! The plane was more than half empty so it was nice I got my own row! Overall as I said the plane was very old, but service was great, also can not comment on the pork or the drinks but from what I remeber the meal was quite good.
