Eater time in Italy

I will be in Tuscany during Holy Week and Easter (the week before Easter...palm Sunday...Holy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter intself as well as Easter Monday.) I will be with my children age 10 and 16. Any suggestions for towns to experience some of the pageantry of these holy days?

Mike,

At first I thought you had questions about Carpaccio or Tortellini en Brodo.

Way back on our Honeymoon, we got off the train in Florence just in time to be engulfed by a huge processional.
Everyone was out on the streets, fake white doves were flying and the Albs were born on high.

In the narrow lanes it could be hard for the little one to get a good view.

Doesn't Sienna have a big open square where a famous, Medieval horse race used to take place?
If they have a parade there, which they likely do, the whole family should get a good view from atop the church steps, or even from a room overlooking the Piazza, nice.

Mike,
In Florence there is a fireworks display from a wooden cart after the 10 AM Easter Sunday mass. It takes place in front of the Duomo.
