Ragusa received a pretty bad comment on Trip Advisor. HAs anyone stayed there recently? I am not normally put off by one negative but this one was pretty strong. Please help! Thanks!

My family and i are staying at Apartment Martecchini (which is also run by Pero and Davorka) in August... i also am interested in feedback. Sounds like Pero and Davorka are going through a marital rough patch if you read Trip Advisor... :(

Your comment piqued my curiosity. YIKES! I guess the question is, are you traveling alone? Sounds like only a single female may run in to a problem! ;)

We just stayed at Villa Ragusa on May 31 and June 1. Lovely room. Absolutely no problems. Pero met us on time and provided us with maps and tips.

Lisa, My wife and I stayed at Pero's place last summer, and we have nothing but praise for his warmth and hospitality. His accommodation is perfectly situated - a two minute hike down to the Stradun - and Pero's knowledge of Dubrovnik and environs is an added plus. While I can't speak to the TA review you're alluding to, I can speak to a most enjoyable visit to Dubrovnik, thanks in no small part to Pero's splendid and most welcoming Villa Ragusa.
