Dubrovnik to Split (through Mostar or Hvar)

I am planning a trip to Croatia. I will be traveling from Dubrovnik to Split and am looking for opinions as to whether I should go by land, with a stop in Mostar, or by sea, with stops on some islands such as Hvar and/or Korcula. Transportation is not an issue as we are fine with renting a car. Thanks,

I am going to Croatia this coming June and have found that the RS Croatia Guide Book to be very helpful in my planning. If you have one, great. If not you might want to consider getting one. They can be ordered elsewhere on this web site. aloha charlie

I vote Hvar or Bol, Brac just off Split.
