Last year My Husband and I visited the walled city in Dubrovnick. While walking along the wall we came to the rounded area with the cannon facing toward the off-shore island and watched young folk diving off the cliffs below. There seemed to be a restuarant overlooking this area. We never had time to explore but our children are visiting there shortly and we would love to have details of how to access this area.
It is a bar and you access it through a door on the wall from the city. It is paradise late in the afternoon.
Paul's post jogged my memory...you might be describing Cold Drinks "Buza." Rick describes it as "perched on a cliff above the sea, clinging like a barnacle to the outside of the city walls." The entrance is a little hard to find as Paul mentioned--access it through a door in the rock marked "Cold Drinks". It's just up from the cathedral, behind St. Ignatius' Church. It an amazing place to have a drink and watch the sunset!
Thanks Paul & Sharon. We will instruct the kids to search for this - we must just have missed the entrance.
