On a May '11 morn we plan to leave Plitvice Lakes heading toward Split, Croatia. We are considering spending that day as follows: swinging east 30 minutes to Bihac, Bosnia then south on the Europe #d hiway to Bosanski Petrovac where we would turn onto a Bosnian hiway thru Drvar, BiH & cross back into Croatia above Knin late that afternoon allowing for a few stops. Tho we expect to know basic terms & a few phrases in Croatian, we dont expect to be able to learn much, if any, Bosnian. Does anyone have thots on that route? The road, meals, language, sights, etc.?
