Hi all, So, we're going to be driving in Europe, and because my mother in law wants to visit her ancestral home we'll be going to the Ukraine. I have my own car, and I am already covered for car insurance for all of Europe. I now need to see about getting short term car insurance for Ukraine. Does any one have any suggestions? Cheers!

Where are you going in Ukaraine? We are planning a trip there in Sept. and will be using trains, planes and busses. Driving there, from what we have been reading, seemed like it was not the better option. The Ukraine tourism site has scant information.

We're going to be in Budapest, having driven from Venice. The Ukraine part is just a day or two side trip. We're wanting to explore the smaller villages, hence the need for the car.

David, I don't know the answer to your question but as Ukraine is in Europe won't your "all of Europe" insurance cover you?
