Hello, My husband and I will be driving from Stuttgart to Copenhagen. We are trying to decide on a place to stopover for the night before we catch the Puttengarten-Rodby ferry. We would arrive early afternoon and are looking for a place to meander around from the afternoon/evening. I am considering Lubeck. Can anyone recommend a reasonably priced hotel (with parking) in Lubeck? Or any other suggestions for a possible stopover? Thank you

Hi, On the way to take the ferry at Puttgarten, there is always Hamburg. But Lübeck as a smaller place is better for the time you have. Outside the train station is the Baltic Hotel. I checked it out a couple of years ago, a 2 star, was looking for cheap but decent places close to the train station. I don't know about parking possibilities.
