Hello! I was hoping you could help me. We are planning to rent a car and drive it from Greece to France. I have heard of people renting cars in different locations in Europe, driving through and dropping it of at a different location, but I don't know how its done in Greece. Any ideas?

According to viamichelin.com, Athens to Paris (for example) is a drive of almost 3,000 Km through 6 countries with about 28 hours of driving time. What an adventurous trip! I'm sure you'll be able to rent a car through Autoeurope. Be prepared for a hefty one-way dropoff charge, and be sure to get all the insurance coverage you can.
