Hi All, We're going to take a day long driving tour starting in Ljubljana and finishing in Rovinj, Croatia. The plan is to stop at Predjama Castle, then to Skocjan Caves, then end up in Rovinj in the evening.
What are some other interesting stops along the way? Are there some cute Italian towns on the coast to stop and have a meal or drink? What about stopping at Piran? Any thoughts?

You may have just enough time to also stop at the Lippica horse farm. Be aware that you may have to wait a little bit before you are able to join the next available English-speaking scheduled tour group at the cave. We just headed out to the castle (20 min. away) after we bought our tickets to the cave and returned at the appointed time.
