Do we need an international driver's license for Turkey

We are going to be renting a car in Izmir and dropping it off in Antayla. We have a reservation with Alamo, but if someone knows a better, cheaper option. Please let me know. Also, do we need an international driver's license in Turkey?

Yes, you need the IDP if you plan to drive in Turkey. They cost $15 at AAA plus extra if you don't bring your own 2 passport-size photos.
