Hello, Any recommendations regarding where to book/catch a tour for a 1/2 day tour from Athens to Delphi, and a separate day tour from Athens to Sounion ?

We used "George the Famous Taxi Driver in Athens" and had a good experience with his outfit. You can find him online and you can also go to Trip Advisor on latest comments on this service. He still gets a lot of positive reviews so you don't have to rely only on my good experience with his drivers. They take you to the must sees and leave you alone, enough to do it on your own pace and time. They are not tour guides but they can also share what they can along the way. They also know of good restaurants for lunch during the day.

Karen Chat Tours and GO Tours do both, I think. http://www.chatours.gr/ http://www.gotours.com.gr/ I've used both at times and they are much of a muchness. Your hotel will probably have a brochire for at least one and be able to book you. It's relatively easy to get to Sounio on your own. A bus runs from the corner of Aeros Park and then through the centre and down the coast road. You can pick it up at Syntagma The timetable is here http://www.ktelattikis.gr/company/Sounio_summer_2012.pdf The Sounio bus is the square on the top left - hourly from 6.30 - and the returns the square to its right - hourly on the hour.
