I'm going to be in Krakow for 9 nights and would like to do a couple of day trips via train. I've looked at Zakopane, Wroclaw and some others. I deally, I would like to do one overnight and another day trip. I am already planning on a day trip to Auschwitz. Zakopane looks promising but it will be in between seasons. Is it worth it?
Thoughts?

For skiing probably too late. For hiking too early. But the prices will be down and the views are always spectacular (if the sky is clear). So if the weather cooperates, go for it.
