I will be traveling from Prague to Cesky Krumlov to Budapest and would like to stop in Salzburg or Vienna in between. I only have 1 night and day to do this. I understand that I would not have much time in Vienna so am leaning towards Salzburg as I enjoy the outdoors. I have found shuttles from CK to Salzburg, Vienna, and Budapest which appear to be relatively direct on shuttlebus.cz and expedicion.cz, but don't know if I can catch a shuttle or train from Salzburg to Budapest? Any thoughts or general input about this itinerary? Thank you!

Use shuttle from CK to Salzburg then train. From Vienna to Budapest you can use hydrofoil on Danube so you have some change from train travel. Use Deutsche Bahn website for train timetables.
