I was thinking of cycling in the Balkins in the summer and just wondered which country anybody would recomend?
Has anyone done much cycling in the Balkins. thanks in advance

I am a cyclist from Budapest, did some trips in the surrounding countries. Depends on what you like: Hungary is the easiest country -- the flatest, not many hills or mountains and good bicycle roads (check out Budapest and Balaton on google or wikipedia). Transylvania (Romania) is among the most beautiful, but my personal favourite is Slovenia. Would be a nice trip down from Budapest to Slovenia and then towards the east, Croatia, Bulgaria.
