I am looking for smaller cruise ship vacation that stops at numerous port towns. I am traveling with my 84 yr old mother, so comfort is a must. I have seen round trip cruises from Venice - any suggestions?
There are lots of smaller (15 cabins or so)"sailing" boats that ply the waters of Dalmatia - some are activity focused (we took a cycling trip, staying on the boat at night and traveling between islands). We had one couple who just stayed on the boat. There are diving trips or just sailing trips. Our trip started in Trogir - others start in Split and/or Dubrovnick. You might start with this website: http://croatia.hr/en-GB/Homepage another one is: http://www.portal-trogir.com/ Neither of these specifically seem to have cruises listed, but there are chat lines and contact information. We absolutely loved Croatia (stayed several days in an apt. in Trogir, plus visiting several islands).
I got the posting. Thanks.
Karen, this is a double posted question with more responses under To the West. You might consider deleting your answer here and moving it to the other question so that all the responses are in the same question.
Janet, I just found this site - I got a lot of information on Croatia from them when I was planning. This specific page is about cruising: http://www.adriatica.net/cruise/adriatic_cruise_en.htm?source=google_ANET.row/en&gclid=CNqax53y1qYCFQTNKgod1G0AJA
