Croatian Ferry...UGH!

What is the difference between "deck" and "seat" on a ferry? Has anyone ever taken "Split Tours" ferries?

Can't confirm regarding the Croatian ferries, but on the Italy/Greece ones Deck means basically that, you are intended to stay out on the deck, there are chairs and tables and obviously can use any of the public facilities inside. Seat or sometimes called an airline seat is an airline style seat that reclines (slightly) usually in a separate indoor area, they might show movies and usually turn down the lights at night. Neither are very conducive for sleep, for that you would need to upgrade to a dorm bunk or private cabin.
