Star Clippers has a tall-mast Venice-Athens cruise which stops at a number of Coation ports along the way.

I didn't take a cruise, but I wound up my eastern Europe vacation in Croatia last year and loved Dubrovnik! Beautiful city, people, etc., and it's affordable. Split was nice to.

We enjoyed a 7 day cruise in the S. Dalmatian Islands this July--perfect way of seeing the islands (Vis, Hvar, Korcula, Mljet) without the trouble and time involved in doing the ferries, taxis, buses, etc. This was a small motorcruiser (max 20 passengers) that took us from port to port. Breakfast, lunch and slept on board but free to do whatever on the islands in the afternoon and evening. (No unpacking for 7 days, no worries about how to get to the next destination--we did that the other 3 weeks!). The company is Explore-- based in the UK but Katarina Line (should be able to google it) also does something similar.
