Croatia weather

Hi, I'll be spending a week in Zagreb and Zadar in the middle of September and am trying to decide what to pack. I'm wondering what the weather is like and if the beaches will be warm enough to swim and hang out on.

Yes, September is usually warm enough for swimming and crowds are gone.
