Hi, We are planning on going to the Adriatic (Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro) next year and wondering what would be the best time to go. We would like to swim in the Adriatic but don't want to be dying of the heat either. I'm thinking mid-June. Is this the best time heat wise - not too hot, not too cold to swim? Should we go earlier? If you go to the RS Tours and look under "Best of the Adriatic Tour" there is a listing in the lower right hand side of the page that you can access for weather in the area for the year. We just came back from that tour that we took on June 22 to July 7 (+/-) and the weather was in the high 70s and low to mid 80s as we got more south along the coast.
