Croatia Itinerary Help Please...

In August spending 16 nights in Croatia & need suggestions/comments about my itinerary, please! I'm flying from Pula to DBV & planned on starting here working back to Pula. We based our destinations on beaches, scenery, & party spots. DBV 2 nights, Hvar 2 nights, Brac 2 nights, Trogir 1 night, Vodice 2 nights, Pag 3 nights, & Plitvice 3 nights. Is this schedule feasible w/ferries as I'm unsure how to travel north to Pag & Plitvice? Thank you for your help!

Jadrolinija ferry website is helpful (www.jadrolinija.hr). Check schedules - coastal ferries. They are grouped by district, so just search around. Jadrolinija is very good about responding to questions (link on website). Krilo also runs catamarams between Hvar and Split. Three nights in Plitvice might be too many. May want to spend your last 1 or 2 nights in Istria instead. Plitivce could be a challenge by public transportation from Pag. Consider renting a car in Trogir (Split airport) or Zadar (on way from Vodice to Pag) and returning to Pula airport.

3 nights in plitvice maybe too much. I got all I needed at plitvice with a day of travel, 1 night, 4 morning hours at the park, and then back on the road. Don't get me wrong, it was beautiful. I would spend more nights in DBV or even a night in split before heding out into the islands. Plitvice was easiest by car from Split.

The Istrian peninsula is great. Do not miss Rovigno in Italian / Rovinj in Croatian if your in Pula, it is a super short trip (half hour if my memory suits me) and the interior of the old town is geourgeous with restaurants, churches, shops everywhere you look. I would have sworn I was in Italy. If your in Pula, Rovigno would be a shame to be missed. I've traveled extensively throughout Croatia, this is still on top of my favorite places there. The beaches however, not so friendly. In truth, the best beaches in the neighborhood are in Montenegro. But that is a whole other can of worms...
