Does anyone have any experience with hiring water taxis or private boats to go between the islands in Croatia? Specifically, I'm wondering about going from either Korcula town or Vela Luka to Hvar town in late September. Following that would be going from Hvar town/Stari Grad/Jelsa to Bol, and then from Bol/Supetar to Split in early October. I see there are ferries that run these routes, but the ferries traveling from south to north all depart very early in the morning. I would prefer not to get up at 5 or 6am to catch these, but we will if hiring private boats is too expensive. If you have used private boats, approximately how much would this cost for 2 people along these routes? And is it easy to make arrangements once we arrive in each port, or should we plan on scheduling ahead of time? If you know any particular companies who do these transfers, please send their names and any contact info you may have. Thanks!
