We will be doing a Greek Islands cruise in early November. Our question is whether to do a shore excursion with the cruise ship on Corfu and Rhodes or to rent a car and sightsee on our own. Any suggestions?

I have been to both spots on a cruise and would not use a chip tour. Both are simple to get around on and have great sights. PM me is you would like more details.

i haven't been to corfu but rohodes yes. the cruise ship dock is about 2 min walk to the old city so you can do it yourself. the old town, new town and beach takes about a day. if you have another day you can take a bus to lindos for a day. you don't need any guided tour, just follow the crowd you'll be fine.
