I'll be in Prague mid-April for a week. Has anyone taken a cooking class there? I'm looking for 1/2 day or so - looking for something fun to do while husband is working....
thanks
I have only been to the train station in Prague, but I have a suggestion. When you get there find the Tourist Information office and see if it has any information.
Unfortunately I couldn't find anything when I looked for the same thing last year. Instead, I took a day trip to Kutna Hora (I used Sandemans New Europe Prague). It left from the main square and was about 6 hours round trip using public transport. I didn't like my guide at all, but hopefully they have remedied that problem. There are plenty of other day trip options - the TI will have info.
We spent three days in Plzen and enjoyed all the food we had there. As a matter of fact, in all our traveling we haven't had what I would call a bad meal. We've never had a bad beer either.
Perfect link, Michael - thanks. Has anyone done a tour or class with Taste of Prague?
You're welcome, lots of reviews here: http://tinyurl.com/b2grkdz
Yep - I found Taste of Prague on TA - but I it's so much more personal here...I was hoping to hear from someone with recent experience.
We were in Bologna last year and had the most amazing time with Alessandro on his food tour...Might be too much to hope for a similar experience here.
Nnow you understand why they drink so much beer?
Tthat's a bad thing?
