We are finishing a Rick Steves Tour in Kusadasi this fall. We have a week to explore the coastal region. Any recommendations? We like quiet, picturesque areas but are game for anything.

If you get as far south as Bodrum be sure to visit the quaint seaside village of Gumusluk.

Hi Louanne - After spending time in Kusadasi each year for the past 25 years I can tell you you'll have a GREAT time. A five star hotel on the ocean with three meals a day and all the alcohol you can drink will cost about $40 Euro's per person each day!! WOW
You will love the shopping in Kusadasi - Please visit my old friends Ahmet at Mellisa's and Mahmut at Full Leather for some amazing deals on purse, leather goods, suitcases, etc. They are the best !!
Ferries from Kusadasi go all over the area for a very reasonable price.
