I'm going on the Steves Eastern Europe tour in June/July. I expect it to be warm but will I need long pants? How about a dressier skirt? We are limited on luggage we can bring. Thanks
Merine,
My wife likes to travel with capris. They are lightweight for traveling, wear well and are cool for European summers...most hotels don't have AC, so think cool.
I did the Berlin-Prague-Vienna tour late June/early July last year and the weather was cool on several days. The only really warm whether I encountered was when I traveled on to Budapest. I'd recommend packing a few clothes you can layer in case you have some cool days or evenings. You can also check the extended forecasts on the internet just before you leave and adjust to that. Worst case, you'll guess wrong and have to buy a couple of warmer or lighter items in Europe.
