close connection - Athens to Santorini - is this do-able?

On 6/30/2010 we arrive in Athens at 9:00AM via US Airways. We need to catch a flight to Santorini on Aegean Air departing at 11:00AM.
The paperwork lists this as a "tight connection".
Does anyone know if this is do-able? I am thinking that we arrive in one terminal and depart out of another for the domestic flight to Santorini.
I assume we will need to go through Customs in Athens.
Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks

It's doable if you're on time. Athens Airport's size is manageable and passengers are bussed to and from the planes so the terminals aren't spread out too much. You obviously will have to collect your bags and then go through Passport Control and Customs before going upstairs to check in for your flight to Santorini. If USAir has some sort of partnership with Aegean Airlines that provides you with a boarding pass in advance you will more than likely have no problem making that flight. It does, however, also partially depend on how many other flights and passengers are trying to get through the entry processes along with you and your fellow USAir passengers. I've done it in less than 2 hours a few times, although it can be stressful. Good Luck, I hope it all goes smoothly.
