Hello All, My partner and I are planning on staying in Rovinj for 3 nights in AUGUST.(sort of a home base for Istra).
I'm really having a tough time figuring out where we are going to stay. I'm assuming we're going to need prior reservations, and we want a simple, inexpensive place not too far from the center. Any ideas?

I haven't been there yet, but for my trip in May I got reservations at the Villa Marea, which seemed reasonable. It is outside of the center a bit. I also considered Villa Kristina, which is closer to the center, but slightly more expensive. Both are rated high on Trip Advisor, and I am not sure how much their prices would vary between May and August...
