Charter bus from Bari, Italy to Rome

We are a large family (22 people) celebrating a reunion in Puglia and need to get from Bari to Rome on June 30, 2019. What do you suggest? Thank you for a reply

I'd try locating travel agencies in Rome and Bari to see if they can pre-book you on a bus or a train from Bari to Rome. I don't see why they couldn't, as they probably have all the information and provide bookins all the time for people coming into Italy from Greece and vice-versa. I don't think you'd need to go to the expense of chartering a bus for your group if you act quickly.

Here's one in Bari: http://tinyurl.com/yehc2tf

Here's a website for group travel by train with a New York 800 number: http://www.raileurope.com/group-travel/group-travel.html

9 1/2 years is a little early to be booking in advance...:)
Assuming you mean June 30th, 2010 (amazing how our fingers keep reaching for that 9), you may want to contact the Marozzi bus line, based in Bari. They should be able to give you a quote on a bus rental...but with it only going one-way, it may be a fair bit more expensive than just buying tickets on the express bus to Rome, or taking the train.

Paola, I think you will get your best answers if you go on the correct Rick Forum. This is not the correct one. His Italy forum is called "To the Boot: Italy". Also you might try Fodor's Forum, Italy branch -- there are TONS of people who go to italy every year, on that forum, not just people who had one Rick trip. Try it.

Contact the Italian Government Tourist Office in NY as they can get you a list of coach companies in that area.
