Charles Bridge in Prague

Cindy, I didn't notice any signs of repair when I was there in September 2011? There were no scaffolds or other work equipment, and it seemed like "business as usual". Happy travels!

Likewise I was there in Nov.2011 and saw no work being done.

I was there in October 2011 and did not notice any repair.

I was in Prague last week. No repairs being done on the bridge. Lots and Lots of people though.

Go early. Before 8 am it's usually without crowds.

Thanks everyone for your responses. We are going the end of November, and hope it won't be too crowed at that time. But we will try to get there early in the morning.

Just back this wk from Prague and there are some minor reapirs going on with the pillars and statues. But is is very walkable and of course crowded everyday w/ visitors. I suppose you know it is pedestrian only.

December will be chillier of course, but definitely less crowded. I was there during the Christmas season several years ago, and it was magical. Hope you make it over!
